Miami, FL (July 10, 2018) – Mission 500 has announced that its fourth annual security industry softball game fundraiser will take place on Sunday, August 26, 2018. This year’s event will be held from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Overpeck County Park, located at 199 Challenger Road in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.

“The Mission 500 Annual Softball Game is so much fun and is a great opportunity for our community to help those in need,” said Jeff Eichenlaub, Director of Strategic Partnerships for Mission 500. “We are counting on the continued support and dedication of the industry to make the day a success and help us reach our goal of $50,000.”

Sponsorships are available between $500 and $5,000. Companies contributing over $1,500 will have the option to designate one or two players to a team.

This year’s sponsors include: ADI, Altronix, Anixter, Axis Communications, Brooklyn Voltage Supply, Commercial Architecture Magazine, Dahua USA, DMP, ESA New Jersey Chapter, Hanwha Techwin America, ISC Events, Ken Gould Consulting, LRG Marketing Communications, Napco StarLink, NYFAA, PSA Security Network, Rapid Response, ScanSource, SD&I, Security Sales & Integration, Security Systems News, and Security Today.

Those who are unable to attend the event, but would still like to donate, can do so by clicking here (https://www.firstgiving.com/Event/Donation/48485).

Mission 500 will also be hosting a Back to School Care Pack event at the game with a goal of assembling 200 book bags filled with school supplies. Every $27 donated fills one backpack for donation to local children in need.

In 2017, individuals from 20 companies (along with their children) participated and helped raise over $45,000.

“The Mission 500 Annual Softball Game is such a great way to bring the security industry together along with their families and friends to help children and families in need across the United States,” said Alan Forman, President of Altronix. “Altronix is proud to be one of the founding sponsors of Mission 500, and we look forward to continuing to achieve new milestones with our industry partners and peers.”

In addition to participating in this event, security industry professionals can also support Mission 500 in a variety of other ways, including volunteering to help with the Security 5K/2K at ISC West or making financial donations. All donations are tax-deductible and can be made with major credit cards and American Express loyalty points.
