SAST, a Bosch startup company ,is bringing a new slant on how disparate video surveillance systems can operate with an open approach, so says CEO Hartmut Schaper Tuesday at the GSX event in Las Vegas. Schaper stresses that the security industry is ready for a change of thinking when it comes to an open environment of Google-inspired apps that is being driven by connectivity and the growing influence of the Internet of Things.
