Yale Lock CES 2019 Roundup

Jan. 29, 2019

Yale Lock had several new products and integrations to announce at CES 2019.

● We’ve released the brand new Assure Lever Lock, which will allow your interior rooms and non-deadbolt entry doors to be just as secure and simple as deadbolt doors. With this addition to our Assure line, we’re bringing easy-to-use, sleek security to your home office, wine cellar, recording studio, side entry or garage entry. Available in both keypad and touchscreen versions, these new locks feature a key-free Academy Lever, with a transitional curved look to match the curve of the keypad. You can also smarten it with the perfect Yale Smart Module, including Z-Wave Plus, Connected by August and Zigbee. The Connected by August Kit powers the lock with August Smart Lock capabilities — including Auto Unlock, voice integrations and more. Come spring, you can buy it on Amazon.com, ShopYaleHome.com and through other major retailers.

● Our Yale Real Living Locks with Z-Wave (including the Assure Lock line) are now fully integrated with Ring Alarm, Ring’s professionally monitored home security system. You’ll now be able to disarm your Ring Alarm security system by simply unlocking your Yale lock, or arm the system by locking it. This partnership will enable our customers to create an even stronger home security system going forward.

● Connected camera brand Arlo just announced its “Works with Arlo” program, and we’re proud to be one of their first partners! You can now access and control your Yale locks directly from the Arlo app, enabling an even more cohesive smart home experience. Other initial partners include smart lights, smoke sensors, speakers, thermostats and more.

This is just the start of an exciting year for Yale, which we promise will be full of new offerings and smart home innovations. Follow our channels for more information about these new releases and what’s to come in 2019!
