According to a new report from UK-based IMS Research, Bosch Security Systems leads in CCTV market share for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

The report states that Bosch holds a 3 percent advantage over its closest competitor in the EMEA region with a 9.1 percent market share in CCTV and video equipment. In addition, the company has a nearly 10 percent edge in the region’s video encoder market, holding a reported 19.4 percent market share.

Despite holding a significant advantage on the competition, Coen Rooijmans, Bosch’s senior vice president for the EMEA region, says that the company plans to further increase its market share in the region by bolstering its sales, support and training efforts.

“Just having a catalogue is not enough,” he said in a prepared statement. “Our customers expect excellent training and support as well, which is why we have training facilities in almost all countries in EMEA.”
