The Electronic Security Association announced this week that Charles "Dom" D’Ascoli, president of North Carolina-based Smoky Mountain Systems, was recently installed as the association’s new president at ESX 2010.

In addition to D’Ascoli, four other officers were also installed at the conference including Mike Horgan (vice president), John Knox (vice president), Marshall Marinace (vice president), and Bill Cooper (secretary).

"ESA has meant so much to me and done so much to help my business. Being president gives me the opportunity to give back to the industry and the association. I hope to support the industry and other businesses in the same way that I’ve been supported," D’Ascoli said in a statement.

The new terms will begin on July 1.
