Memphis passes false alarm ordinance
Residents to face $25 fine for repeated violations

According to a story published by a local Fox affiliate, the city council members in Memphis, Tenn., approved a new false alarm law this week that charges residents for repeated false alarms.
Resident who have more than five false alarms will be issued a $25 fine. Police will reportedly quit responding to homes that have more than seven false alarms.
