Competing Samsung houses Samsung Techwin America and Samsung | GVI Security Solutions announced this morning that they will be joining forces for representing Samsung products. The move follows an announcement that Samsung Techwin has acquired Samsung Electronics Company's video security products and that Samsung Techwin and the Samsung Electronics Video Security Products were being merged. As part of the partnership between the companies, Samsung | GVI Security Solutions is changing its name to Samsung Security. The two companies will jointly operate in Argentina, Brazil and Chile; in the rest of Latin America, sales will be handled by Samsung Security (formerly GVI).
