VIASPACE Receives Blanket Purchase Agreement For AIMS Security Surveillance Systems

PASADENA , Calif., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VIASPACE Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VSPC), a company commercializing proven technologies from NASA and the US Department of Defense, reported that it has received a new blanket purchase agreement from the Inter local Purchasing System (TIPS) and Texas-Arkansas Purchasing System (TAPS) for Security Surveillance Systems, Equipment, Supplies and Installation.

This is another new contract opportunity for VIASPACE Security, a wholly-owned VIASPACE subsidiary. VIASPACE Security is now eligible to sell the AIMS Security System, software and installation services to more than 1500 local, regional and state government authorities within the States of Texas and Arkansas. VIASPACE Security is an authorized re-seller of AIMS hardware and custom software using its exclusive license from Caltech to commercialize NASA's SHINE real-time inference engine technology for most major defense applications, homeland defense and maritime security.
