He also asserted that his Presidential campaign is focusing increased public attention on issues that are high priorities in his own Congressional district and all across the county: jobs, health care, the war, and the negative effect that war funding is having on the nation's domestic agenda.
He pointed specifically to a new bill, co-introduced with Republican Congressman Steve LaTourette, also from Northeast Ohio, that would establish a new infrastructure funding program that would rebuild bridges, water systems, sewer systems, and create millions of new jobs. Initiatives such as that are important to citizens in Cleveland and all across the country, he said.
