WASHINGTON , May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Chairman of the National Security Initiative Roger London today announced that The Honorable Tom Ridge, first Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and former governor of Pennsylvania , will receive the organization's esteemed Patriot Award, "We are excited and proud to award Governor Ridge this honor. Governor Ridge will be recognized and honored among the nation's leading high-tech innovators dedicated to protecting America's security at the American Security Challenge event on, June 5, 2008 , at The Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. Grand Prize for the American Security Challenge is $100,000 provided by Nobska Ventures.
