Polimatrix Nuclear and Radiological Detection Company Appoints Martin Erim as CEO

ARLINGTON, Va., July 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/-- Polimatrix, Inc., a solutions provider and systems integrator of radiation & nuclear detection and identification systems and a joint venture between Homeland Security Capital Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: HMSC - News), a company focused on acquiring, developing and consolidating homeland security-related businesses, and Polimaster, Inc., announced today the appointment of Martin Erim as CEO of Polimatrix, Inc.

Erim's 25-year long career spanned businesses and project activities worldwide, specializing in the technology and defense contracting sectors. Before his appointment at Polimatrix, Erim served as president of AfterGlow Technologies, a subsidiary of Defense Holdings, Inc., which provides safety systems to commercial buildings in New York City . Prior to this, Erim was president, CEO & founder of First Renaissance Ventures (FRV). FRV provides M&A, finance and advisory services to clients and projects in the defense and commercial technology sectors.

Before Erim's work at FRV, he was a senior vice president at CACI, a publicly-traded defense IT and network solutions firm, with over 6,000 employees, based in Arlington, Va. Prior to CACI, Erim was president, CEO, & co-founder of American Legal Systems (ALS), a legal computer systems firm which was eventually sold to CACI. ALS provided high-end database services to Fortune 100 corporate and law firm clients nationwide and to the U.S. Government through its network of eight offices.

Erim serves on boards and advisory groups of various businesses. He is also a member of the National Military Intelligence Association.

Erim is chairman of Americans for Strong National Security, a nonpartisan, political networking and fundraising nonprofit. He also is a member of the Myers Society of the American University Washington College of Law, as well as having served as a member of the Dean's Advisory Council and on various other steering and planning groups. He is a member of the Political Science Board of Visitors at the Pennsylvania State University. He also endowed the Erim Fund for Political Science at Penn State. He is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity International and a member of their International Advisory Group.
