Department of Justice Awards Joint Automated Booking System Contract to SRA

FAIRFAX, Va., July 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to federal government organizations, has been awarded a General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the Department of Justice (DOJ). The Company will provide information technology services to operate and maintain the Joint Automated Booking System (JABS), an automated system for collecting and transmitting data related to criminal investigations. The single award, five-year, BPA has an estimated value of $20 million if all options are exercised.

JABS is a multi-agency initiative that provides information sharing among federal law enforcement agencies and within activities of the Department of Homeland Security. The system serves as a current, nationwide reference for criminal offenders, arrests, cases, and related data to aid in criminal investigations and prosecutions. The SRA team will operate and maintain JABS by providing software development, network and systems engineering and integration, information assurance, and user support services. The team will also assess and evaluate the architecture, system, and software components for new development or emerging technology insertion. The SRA team includes BruckEdwards, Inc. and McDonald Bradley, Inc.
