SAN JOSE , Calif., Aug. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- PWT-IT Solutions Inc. a leading IT resource solution provider and 3Com(R) Gold service partner, announced today the successful design and implementation of a new VoIP dial plan and Wide Area Network for Silicon Valley Auto Group, (SVAG) Northern California's largest new and pre-owned exotic automobile dealership.
Based in Los Gatos, SVAG focuses on premium sales, service and support for Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Lotus, Rolls Royce, Saleen 7, Spyker and other premium performance autos. As part of maintaining its ever-growing business, SVAG selected PWT-IT Solutions to help design and implement a new integrated phone network. SVAG needed a system that would provide seamless linking between the company's three main showrooms and its brand new (state-of-the-art) service and parts facility.

Based on 3Com's proven Switch 4500 and NBX V3000 VoIP system, PWT-IT designed a new WAN network and VoIP Dial Plan to facilitate seamless voice traffic between the emporium's three distinct showrooms, and its new service facility. The new phone network features: direct three-digit dialing, call routing, voice mail transfer, teleconferencing and paging between sites.

"We constructed the system so that (based on the incoming dialed number), the new network is able to identify and in real-time route the caller to the correct receptionist for each location or department at SVGA. We even installed new full featured 3Com 3102 business phones in the main offices, at the parts desk, service writer desks and repair bays as a final step to complete the project installation."
