(" China Security" or the "Company") (NYSE: CSR), a leading provider of digital surveillance technology in China , today announced that the Company has filed an amended 10-Q for its first and second quarter 2007 to correct for a certain typographical error. The language in the filing is being updated to more accurately reflect the relationship between the "installation in process" balance included in inventory on the balance sheet and the value of the signed contracts in the backlog as of June 30, 2007 and March 31, 2007 .
The Company stated that, due to a typographical error, its previous two 10-Q filings inaccurately reflected installations in process and the value of signed contracts in the Company's customer backlog. The Company has filed an amendment to form 10-Q today for the periods ending June 30, 2007 and March 31, 2007 to reflect this change and that no other information in the original 10-Q filings for the periods ending June 30, 2007 and March 31, 2007 are amended.
