NCTA's Five Pillars Conference Addresses Physical Security

Raleigh, N.C., conference focuses on intellectual property, physical security, contingency planning


RALEIGH, N.C.--(May 15, 2007--The North Carolina Technology Association, (NCTA) the primary voice of the technology industry in North Carolina, recognizes that business leaders must safeguard people, property, information and assets to preserve a company's reputation and protect shareholder value. Experts specializing in protecting people and physical security will share their knowledge on Thursday, June 7, at the NCTA Five Pillars of Executive Leadership in a Non-Secure World conference, presented by Williams Mullen Maupin Taylor, P.A., at Embassy Suites Hotel in Cary, N.C.

Joining Mr. Collins in discussions on physical security and protecting people are Erik Prince and Joe Adamczyk. Mr. Prince is the founder, owner, and CEO of Blackwater USA, the largest commercial firearms and security training facility in the country. Blackwater's customers include all elements of U.S. Special Operations Command and other elite military special operations forces, federal, state and local law enforcement and corporate security teams. Mr. Adamczyk is a Project Director for MPRI, Inc., based in Fayetteville, N.C. MPRI has provided national security, defense and law enforcement customers within the U.S. and abroad with professional services, specialized products, and integrated solutions for education, training and operations since 1986.
