McDonald Bradley Participates in Consortium that Lands $250 Million Agreement at Department of Defense

Company to Provide Expertise on Data Sharing and Interoperability as Sub-contractor to Scitor Corporation

HERNDON, Va., Oct. 12 , /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- McDonald Bradley, Inc., a rapidly growing secure information sharing and IT solutions provider to the government, announced today that it holds a key position in the consortium that was awarded a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) by the Department of Defense, Office of Under Secretary for Defense - Intelligence (OUSD-I). The Company is one of fourteen subcontractors in a consortium led by Scitor Corporation. The BPA carries a maximum value of $250 million over a five-year period.

This consortium will be responsible for providing scientific, engineering, technical and analytic support in the areas of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Task orders totaling up to $50 million may be awarded to the consortium in the first year.

The Office of the Secretary of Defense has been gradually migrating from individual contract awards to a BPA approach. OUSD (I) is now the third organization within OSD to award a BPA.
