GAITS Adds Over 200 IT Professionals by Winning a Five Year Base $152 Million Contract from Sandia National Laboratories, a Part

ALEXANDRIA, Va. , June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GAITS, Inc., announced today that it has been awarded a contract with a five year base period to provide Information Technology (IT) services in a wide range of disciplines to Sandia National Laboratories, headquartered in Albuquerque, NM . In addition to the Albuquerque site, GAITS will provide IT services at the Carlsbad, NM , and Livermore, CA , lab sites of Sandia. The contract, involving well over 200 GAITS IT professionals, provides support for the entire IT function.

The scope of the contract addresses the full spectrum of IT activities, including such functions as information architecture; applications development (scientific, engineering and business systems); information processes (such as data modeling and standards); information services (such as electronic mail and network management) and support of computing and communications (such as mainframes, servers and telecommunications).
