ASIS International Announces New Board Members

Security leaders from Vancouver, Vance, Novo Nordisk, Marriott to help direct security organization

Alexandria, VA (August 2007) – ASIS International (ASIS), the preeminent organization for security management professionals worldwide, is pleased to announce the election of four new members, and the re-election of an existing member, to serve on its 15-member Board of Directors for the 2008- 2010 term.

The new directors are:

· Chad Callaghan, CPP, Vice President, Enterprise Loss Prevention, Marriott International, Inc.

· Kaj Moller, Corporate Security Manager, Novo Nordisk.

· Raymond T. O'Hara, CPP, Senior Vice President, Vance International, Inc.

· Dave N. Tyson, CPP, Chief Security Officer, City of Vancouver.

In addition, Joseph R. Granger, CPP, Security Director for the United Space Alliance, was re-elected to a second term on the Board.

"It is a pleasure for me to welcome each of these individuals to the ASIS Board of Directors, as they have already done so much to advance both the Society and the profession as a whole," said Steve D. Chupa, CPP, 2007 President of ASIS International. "We look forward to their contributions to the efforts of the Board, and the positive impact their increased involvement will have on ASIS."

ASIS Board members serve a three-year term. The Board's Executive Committee will be elected during the ASIS International 53rd Annual Seminar and Exhibits being held Sept. 24-27, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nev.

The newly-elected Board and officers will assume their positions on January 1, 2008.
