IDO Security to Introduce Advanced Version of MagShoe High Speed Shoes-On Airport Security Screening System Worldwide

Aug. 28, 2007

NEW YORK, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IDO Security Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: IDOI) a provider of innovative detection solutions for the homeland security market including the MagShoe(TM) high speed shoes-on portable footwear weapons detection system, today announced that it will be introducing its advanced version of the MagShoe worldwide.

"IDO Security has had early success in demonstrating the effectiveness of the MagShoe in some of the highest security environments in Israel , Europe , Africa , and Australia ," said Michael Goldberg , President of IDO Security Inc. "Following extensive testing, the MagShoe has been deployed by the security forces at the Israel Parliament, and the Israeli Prime Minister's Personal Protection Unit. The MagShoe has also been initially deployed by Airlines and Airports in several countries. Now, we will be introducing an advanced model of the MagShoe to the North American marketplace while continuing our efforts in other parts of the world.

With the global rise of terrorism and the threat of weapons hidden in footwear it became evident to the Israeli founders of IDO Security that existing security screening technology was woefully inadequate to rapidly screen large numbers of people for weapons. The MagShoe was developed to be a portable, easy to deploy, cost effective, user friendly rapid step thru shoe screening device that screens footwear for weapons in a very few seconds without the delays, expense and inconvenience of removing the footwear for screening.

MagShoe is complementary to currently used walk through whole body metal detectors, by adding a clear response to shoe screening at ground level. The MagShoe, shoes-on detector not only scans footwear for weapons, it also scans a portion of the lower extremities actually increasing screening effectiveness at the same time it speeds the process and reduces passenger inconvenience.

Furthermore, recent research has suggested that while removing your shoes for the current screening process, we become susceptible to contact with certain bacteria that poses health risks. MagShoe will eliminate those risks as well as speed the screening procedure while adding an additional layer of security.

"I'm excited to be introducing this innovative Israeli developed security screening technology to the North American market as well as the rest of the world," added Mr. Goldberg . "Israeli based companies have been leaders in bringing high technology to market."
