Texas Security Organizations to Host Security Conference in Austin

ISSA, ISACA, ASIS and Infraguard pool resources for Texas security conference

WHO: The Dallas, San Antonio, Houston and Austin branches of Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Information Systems Audit And Control (ISACA), American Society of Industrial Security International (ASIS) and the FBI’s Infraguard. These entities are the four major players in the security space and represent information security, security auditors, physical security and the FBI’s taskforce for security crimes.

WHAT: Have signed and alliance and will be hosting TRISC (Texas Regional Information Security Conference) in Austin in September. The need for this alliance is predicated on the significant increase and complexity of security-related risks to businesses from terrorism, cyber attacks, Internet viruses, theft, fraud, extortion and other threats that require corporations to develop a more comprehensive approach to protect the enterprise.
