Accenture Announces Key Smart Border Alliance Subcontracts for US-Visit Program

WASHINGTON -- Accenture has finalized contract agreements with the three lead subcontractors supporting the US-VISIT program as part of the Smart Border Alliance. Accenture LLP was awarded the US-VISIT prime contract by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on May 28, 2004 and has concluded subcontract negotiations with Raytheon (NYSE: RTN), SRA International, and Titan Corporation.

Raytheon will provide support in the areas of systems engineering and biometrics. In addition, the company will also play a lead role in deployment activities, as well as provide support in the overall enterprise architecture structuring.

SRA will provide support for data analysis. In addition, the company will help manage data privacy and security considerations on behalf of the Smart Border Alliance.

Titan will provide support in the areas of quality management, configuration management, and testing for systems developed by the Smart Border Alliance. In addition, the company will also provide support in the areas of systems engineering, system design and development, and deployment.
