All-American, Statewide move to new central stations; ASIS 2014 news and more

All-American moves to expanded facility: All-American Monitoring has expanded to a new 15,334-square-foot central monitoring center in Sarasota, Fla., monitoring nearly 200,000 accounts based across the U.S. and Canada. The facility employs more than 80 personnel.

Huntsman added to ASIS keynote list: Jon Huntsman Jr., governor of Utah (2005-2009) and a candidate for the 2012 Republican Presidential nomination, will be a keynote speaker at ASIS 2014 on Sept. 30, at the Georgia World Congress Center, in Atlanta.

Statewide moves to new central station: Statewide Central Station has moved into a new, custom-designed, modern facility known as Corporate Commons One, in Staten Island, N.Y. The CSAA Five Diamond Certified central station monitors alarms throughout the U.S. and Caribbean islands.

Vivint partners with LifeLock: Vivint has announced a partnership with LifeLock Inc., that will enable Vivint customers the ability to bundle their new or existing Vivint package with LifeLock’s intuitive identity theft protection services.  

ScanSource launches online education: ScanSource Security, a value-added distributor of physical security products, has launched “ScanSource Security On-Demand,” an education and information portal for its security and networking dealers and resellers. Tri-Ed adds Nest to its vendor roster: Tri-Ed has announced a distribution agreement with Nest as a new vendor partner supplier in the U.S. Nest reinvents unloved but important home products, like the thermostats and smoke alarms.

Allegion joins PSA program: PSA Security Network has added Allegionto its Premier Vendor Program, which works hand-in-hand with PSA’s Premier Owner Program to enhance the relationship between PSA vendors and integrators, resulting in optimal pricing and service.    

Zebra to purchase Motorola division: Zebra Technologies has entered into an agreement to acquire Motorola’s Enterprise business, which provides voice and data communication solutions, for $3.45 billion.
