At ESX 2011 in Charlotte, N.C., the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC) presented ADT's Jay Hauhn with the William N. Moody Award (see story from ESX). Hauhn, the CTO and vice president of industry relations for ADT Security Services, is also a tireless volunteer for SIAC, especially when it comes to raising funds for the non-profit. In my email this morning, I received these photos from SIAC communications director Dave Simon that captured Jay receiving the award from SIAC Executive Director Stan Martin.
Before I post the photos, I want to say that if you're in the alarm industry, you benefit from the work SIAC does, and if you're not aware of this organization, go to the SIAC webpage and learn more. I'd recommend that you support the organization's efforts financially any way you can. As Stan or Jay would probably tell you, your livelihood depends indirectly on the work they do.
