Nothing makes security folks more appreciative than the efforts a dumb criminal. Enter the story of a guy who steals security cameras. This one is from Pierce County, Washington, and the camera (see video at end of this linked story) really nails a nice image of this dumb criminal. The color imaging and lighting are really good, so I would not be surprise if this idiot's second-hand security camera business is shut down and he is shut behind bars soon. If he had done his homework, he would have realized that the data isn't stored in the camera.
Final thought: Is there really a market for "hot" security cameras?
