Surveillance cams film U.S. Airways crash landing

Feb. 9, 2009

When U.S. Airways Flight 1549 landed in the Hudson River last month, piloted to a rather graceful landing on the river's surface by pilot-turned-hero Chelsey Sullenberger, some surveillance cameras caught the entire scene. According to the folks at Bosch, the cameras in the CNN video below are the Bosch cameras from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal (the terminal for the big cruise ships). The cameras captured both the unbelievably smooth landing on the Hudson and the following rescue efforts. Enjoy!
