Get Your Security Education On in April!

April 19, 2010

Be sure to check out the April issue of Security Technology Executive, which should be arriving in your mailbox within the next week.

We will unveil our first special "Security Education" section in this issue, which includes a story from an online university about training information assurance professionals; along with a comprehensive list of security-related educational opportunities culled from  ASIS International's database. These are opportunities for you to broaden your security knowledge and your earning power! Be sure to check out the listings, broken down by state for your convenience.

Also in the April issue, STE will focus on critical infrastructure security -- our cover story is on a major TWIC implementation at the Port of Wilmington, the busiest port on the Delaware River. The section also includes an in-depth look at some of the successful security strategies deployed by our nation's utilities; a full roundup of recent security applications and installations; and a closer look at CFATS -- anti-terrorism legislation that will impact chemical facilities.

Look for a huge section of new products in the video storage space, including DVRs, NVRs, RAID arrays and more.

Finally, don't forget about our esteemed group of security industry expert columnists, who will attack such issues as: Network Protection for Security Systems; Leading Indicators; Fundamental IT Security Fallacies; and how not to make a PowerPoint presentation.

And, industry guru Steve Lasky will draw parallels between the world of security and the world of...you guessed it, rotisserie baseball!! (Well, maybe you didn't).

As always, please send your comments to me or Steve...we'd love to hear from you!
