I'm pretty impressed with what this MIT student has done in the spare time to hack together a unique dorm room access control system such that he allows the door to be actuated by a key, a secret knock, or the use of an iPhone app. Best of all, it seems he even built the mechanical/hydraulic door actuator. Someone in the industry, go grab him as an intern or an employee! We need this kind of innovation!
