The Retail Equasion in conjunction with The Loss Prevention Research Council has published a report using the National Retail Federation (NRF) Annual Holiday Return Survey. The NRF survey was conducted in October 2008 with retail loss prevention professionals across a diverse set of retail formats and sizes.
The report, complete with graphs, identifies retail industry return rates, current practices used by retailers for processing customer returns and identifies issues related to customer returns that are common among retailers.
