For over 25 years, Laplink Software has been a global leader in PC connectivity. Our commitment to our client's needs has been the driving force behind all our product development and has earned the loyalty and trust of more than 15 million customers worldwide who migrate, transfer, synchronize, share, and remotely access billions of files per week.
We began offering a simple, efficient method of transferring data from one computer to another across the signature Laplink cable in 1983 and over the years, this commitment to develop and advance migration technology led to the creation of PCmover, the company's flagship product. PCmover now commands 70% of the migration software market in the U.S. alone and is currently the best selling migration product in the world - outselling its competitors by a margin of 3-to-1. Our latest installment of the product, scheduled to be released by late August, provides users with application & folder selectivity and is expected to continue the growth of PCmover sales.
Laplink's product line has also evolved to include Internet-based, wireless, and peer-to-peer solutions for an increasingly mobile workforce. In 2007, we released PDAsync; a corporate world must-have that syncs data between multiple devices with essential business applications; PCsync, an easy-to-use file synchronization utility that employs patented Speed Sync technology; and later this year we release the much anticipated Laplink Everywhere 5; a flexible web-based remote access solution that is compatible with an array of mobile devices and all PCs. With the success of PDAsync in the corporate market, Laplink also plans to unveil a new version by the end of the year.
