Melissa O’Brien grew up in Cincinnati and studied biology at Xavier University. After receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree, Melissa went on to earn her Master’s Degree in health services administration from Xavier. During her graduate program, Melissa completed a yearlong administrative fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. She moved back to Cincinnati after graduation and worked at Premier Health Partners in Dayton, Ohio as a managed care analyst. Melissa accepted her current position as implementation coordinator at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in October 2012. She currently works for the Information Services Department at Children’s and served as a project manager for the visitor management system implementation.
