Former Microsoft developer named head of product development for Milestone

Milestone Systems, the Denmark-based VMS software firm, announced Friday that it has hired 44-year-old Hans Joergen Skovgaard as its new head of product development.

Skovgaard, who prior to joining Milestone worked at Microsoft with responsibility of Dynamics AX Production & Logistics, will now work with a team of 50 developers to continue making innovations in the company’s VMS software.

“My ambition is that Milestone continues to be the world’s best and that requires our customers to be on our side, which can only happen if we do make the world's best software,” Skovgaard said in a prepared statement. “We therefore have to constantly develop ourselves as an innovative organization that continues to fulfill customer needs, and to hold the competition at bay."
