Cheyenne, Wyo. passes amendment to alarm system code
June 13--CHEYENNE -- Multiple false alarms at one location may result in fees for the owners as part of an amendment to the city code on alarm devices.
The Cheyenne City Council unanimously passed the motion Monday.
"I'm glad it passed," Cheyenne Police Chief Brian Kozak said. "It's a good ordinance that will really help us to reduce false alarm calls and allow officers to use their time more efficiently."
