Merger discussions over between RILA and NRF

Retail associations end merger talks following ‘deliberative process’

The board of directors for both the National Retail Federation and the Retail Industry Leaders Association announced today that they have ended merger discussions.

According to a joint statement, the decision to not follow through with the merger was made “following a deliberative process” between the two parties.

The two organizations vowed to continue their cooperation with each other to deal with issues that affect the retail industry.
