Video surveillance solutions provider DVTel announced Monday that it will be opening a subsidiary company in India.
According to a statement, DVTel India will be spearheaded by Managing Director Inderjit Sehrawat and will focus on sales, service and technical support.

"India is a strategic market for us and we are committed to the people and businesses here in every way," said DVTel President and CEO Yoav Stern. "As a global company, local presence is paramount, and I am confident that our team here will deliver on every front when it comes to cutting-edge, end-to-end video surveillance solutions."

The company said it plans to host a reception in conjunction with the U.S. embassy at the IFSEC India conference later this week to celebrate the opening of the new office.

"The DVTel India team is experienced and knowledgeable and we have had much success in India to date," said Sehrawat. "We have worked on major projects in many vertical markets in the security industry, including major airports, safe cities, power, oil and gas, IT and telecom, major sporting events, buildings of national stature, etc. This demonstrates that we understand the requirements of the market and have successfully provided solutions to it."
