Israeli-based BriefCam announced this week that it is partnering with Convergint Technologies, the seventh largest systems integration company in North America.
The partnership will allow Convergint to offer its customers BriefCam’s Video Synopsis technology, which condenses hours of video footage into easily viewed segments.
"This partnership reflects Convergint's commitment to providing clients with the best technologies available today. Security cameras have been a major source of our growth and we're pleased to be able to offer those customers a way of maximizing their security investment," said Tony Varco, Convergint Technology Vice President, electronic security division. "We see Video Synopsis as a game changer and a key tool for improving safety and security, moderating loss prevention and limiting liability."
According to a statement, Convergint will offer VS Forensics, a standalone video synopsis of application for post-event investigation, and VS Enterprise, an integrated video synopsis application.
"We are delighted to announce our partnership with Convergint," said Dror Irani, CEO and president of BriefCam. "Convergint professionals aim to solve problems expressed by customers, many of whom have experienced increasing frustration with the amount of time, effort and personnel needed to browse recorded video. Video synopsis provides an elegant solution to that problem, cutting review time, reducing manpower and storage costs and increasing efficiency along the way."
