Company expands presence in Pacific Northwest with acquisition of SecureTrans and Reliant Security

New York-based guard services firm McRoberts Protective Agency has expanded its presence in the Pacific Northwest with the acquisition of Seattle-based SecureTrans and Portland, Ore.-based Reliant Security from owner Jeffrey Cohen.

According to a statement, SecureTrans and Reliant provide security personnel to marine cargo facilities, cruise lines, warehouses, residential communities, manufacturing facilities, as well as federal and state government agencies.

"We are pleased to be able to expand the McRoberts brand and operating model to our valued cruise clients in Seattle and we are thrilled to add the other SecureTrans and Reliant clients to our portfolio. This acquisition completes our geographic capability in all deep-water port areas of the country and propels McRoberts from a multi-regional company to a national and full-service provider," said Meredith McRoberts, CEO of McRoberts Protective Agency. "The internal clients that we are acquiring with the deal, particularly the managers, Matt Cooper in Portland and Erik White in Seattle, understand and share the McRoberts commitment to service and are very welcome additions to the McRoberts family."
