JVC announced today that Bob Mueller will now lead its professional business in North America, Latin America, and South America as U.S. president of JVC Professional Products Co. and president of JVC Professional Products Canada. Succeeding Kirk Hirota, Mueller will oversee all operational aspects of the two companies, including professional video, visual systems, security business units in Wayne, N.J., and JVC’s Technology Center in Long Beach, Calif. Hirota now serves as general manager, Media System Operation, Business Solution Division of JVC Kenwood Corporation’s Professional Systems Group.

With JVC since 2000, Mueller’s past company positions included executive vice president and chief operating officer of JVC Professional Products Company and JVC U.S.
Prior to his company commitment to JVC, he served as president of Panasonic Broadcast and Digital Systems Co., president and general manager of Sony Video Communications Co., and held various positions including board membership of industry trade organizations.
