$11K stolen from Sears with faulty alarm

More than $11,000 was recently stolen from a Sears store in Rome, Ga., while an alarm company employee worked on the store’s security system, according to a story published by the Rome News Tribune.

A man reportedly stole the money from a safe and lock box while two women who entered the store with him applied for jobs.

According to the report, the store called their alarm company earlier in the day about a faulty alarm and an employee with the alarm company was in the building at the time of the crime.
