COPS Monitoring officially opened its fourth central monitoring station this week in Nashville, Tenn.
In a statement, COPS President and COO Jim McMullen said that new location will help the company connect "even better" with dealers in the region.
"The addition of our Nashville central station also further strengthens our already high levels of redundancy and reliability," he said.
David Smith, director of marketing and communications for COPS Monitoring, told SIW in December that the company chose Tennessee as the location for the central station due to its geographic proximity to other states in the region.
"We didn't currently have an office in that area and because it is so centrally located to other states, we wanted to put one there in the South," Smith explained. "It's our next step. We are always looking for opportunities to increase our regional presence."
The company said that all of its dispatchers at the new central station are CSAA Five Diamond Certified. COPS also plans to have the station itself Five Diamond Certified upon completion of having the site UL-listed.
