ESA recently relaunched Alarm.org as a consumer-focused website about residential safety and security.
June 16, 2011 -- During the Electronic Security Expo (ESX) tradeshow in Charlotte, N.C., the Electronic Security Association rolled out a new consumer-focused website. Using the association's former web domain, Alarm.org, the new site is designed to help consumers learn about security for their homes as well as to help them find an ESA member who can sell them a security system.
The site features press releases from the Electronic Security Association, as well as crime statistics and safety tips that are sure to encourage alarm system sales. Users will find information on choosing and working with an alarm company as well as basic business and home security information. A "Police and Fire Chief's Corner" seeks to link news about the International Association of Chiefs of Police in with the Electronic Security Association.
"Building on the power of our membership and the strength of positive relationships with police and fire departments, the new Alarm.org offers information consumers need to make informed decisions about safety, security and the new technologies that are right for them," said ESA President Dom D'Ascoli.
