The Security Industry Association announced Tuesday that it will be hosting an Airport Security Keynote Lunch at the Phoenix Park Hotel during its Government Summit later this month in Washington, D.C.
Safe Skies Alliance President and CEO Scott Broyles is scheduled to speak at the luncheon and will discuss ways security manufacturers and integrators can take part in the Aviation Security System Integrated Support Testing (ASSIST) program. According to a statement, the Safe Skies Alliance works in conjunction with the TSA to conduct third party testing and evaluation of security solutions that have potential application at airports.
"This luncheon is an ideal opportunity for manufacturers and integrators who either already sell or want to sell in the airport security space to learn more about the ASSIST program and how it can benefit their business," said Don Erickson, Director of Government Relations for SIA.
