The Chemical Industry Council of California (CICC) and ADT Advanced Integration recently announced that they will be hosting a security forum focused on legislation in the chemical industry next month in the greater Los Angeles area.
According to a statement, the event, which is scheduled to take place on Sept. 13 at the conference center inside the Doubletree by Hilton hotel in Norwalk, Calif., will feature presentations on a variety of legislative topics including; the Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA); Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS); and, the Ammonium Nitrate Program.
The event will also feature speakers from the Department of Homeland Security, FBI, U.S. Coast Guard, petrochemical companies, and chemical industry trade associations.
