GreenHouse Holdings, a provider of energy efficiency and sustainable facilities solutions, announced recently that its’ wholly-owned subsidiary Life Protection, Inc. has been awarded a $151 million contract to design and build the Carlstrom National Security Training Center located in central Florida.
According to a statement, the facility, which will be equipped with a military style urban training facility, tactical driving course, obstacle training course, shooting range, as well as advanced computers and technology laboratories, will be used by the military and a variety of other first responders and law enforcement agencies for simulated training scenarios and classroom-based learning.
The design and pre-construction phase of the project will begin immediately. It will take three years to complete the facility.
