Intransa gears up for anticipated growth

In anticipation of significant customer growth in 2010, video storage solutions provider Intransa announced this week that it has hired three new sales executives and established a credit line for supply chain operations.

According to a statement issued by the company, Ken Darby, who has held positions at IQinVision, Petards and Pivot3, has been named regional sales manager for the newly created southeast U.S. region. Mark Baxter, formerly of Bosch Security Systems will head up the western U.S. region, while Stephen Jones, formerly of Mitsubishi Digital Electronics, will be placed in charge of the north central U.S. region.

In addition, Intransa’s new line of credit will allow for both supply chain enhancements and increased inventory, which will help speed up customer deliveries.

“I’m extremely pleased to announce these key additions to the Intransa sales organization,” said Jonathan Perkins, vice-president of worldwide sales in a prepared statement. “Customer demand has been accelerating for Intransa VideoAppliance and shows no signs of slowing down in 2010. The expanded coverage will ensure continued customer satisfaction through our growing mix of authorized distributors, certified security integrators and dealers throughout the United States.”
