BETHEL PARK, Pa. --

Someone threw a wine bottle full of gasoline at a Bethel Park restaurant Sunday, police said.

The Allegheny County fire marshal is investigating the incident at Al's Cafe on McMurray Road.

Fire scorched part of the stone building, but manager Gary Allen is thankful that no more damage was done.

"It was 2 feet away from a pair of wooden double doors," Allen said. "If it would have hit that, the inside of our place -- we look like a ski lodge, it's pretty much all wood. It could have destroyed the whole place."

There were no injuries reported.
