IP surveillance video firm Vigilant expands into North America, Asia-Pacific

Israeli firm Vigilant Technology opens headquarters locations in U.S. and Singapore


Tel Aviv, Israel-based IP video surveillance and security company Vigilant Technology announced today that it has entered the North American market and has opened a North American headquarters in Foxboro, Mass. The new headquarters includes a technology support center, a demonstration room featuring a video control and command center, and the ability to give parties hands-on experiences in setting up the Vigilant technologies. The firm also opened a headquarters office in Singapore  to serve the Asia-Pacific market. The Singapore headquarters office will support the Vigilant efforts in Sydney, Australia.

 

The firm, which is a BATM company, produces a variety of video surveillance solutions, including its SmartGuard video content analytics systems, to high-end RAID-based recording servers and even the Vigilant NetView IP video management solution. The firm also has sales operations for this equipment based out of New York and Arizona.

The company said it has seen "a dramatic rise" in interest for the Vigilant surveillance solutions, and will be exhibiting its technologies April 1-3 at ISC West 2009 in booth 25109.
