Security solutions manufacturer Bosch Security Systems unveiled its new Safe & Sound interactive product exhibit truck at ISC West Wednesday morning.
The hard to miss truck - which measures more than 50 feet in length and has 1,000-square-feet of exhibition space - was built to meet the desire of customers that want to experience a hands-on demonstration of the company’s products locally, according to Jeremy Hockham, Bosch’s president of sales for the Americas.
"We wanted to increase the quality of what we were presenting at these local events," he explained. "(The exhibit truck) gives our customers a much better environment to experience our products."
Featuring about eight tons worth of security products, the Safe & Sound truck showcases nearly every product in the Bosch portfolio including video (fixed cameras, pan-tilt-zoom, video management software, and recording and storage products), fire alarm control panels, intrusion detection and access control. In the center of the exhibit trailer, cameras from the truck are tied together in a Video Command and Control station.
According to Willem Ryan, the company’s product marketing manager, every surveillance camera on the exhibit truck is IP and nearly all of them feature HD resolution.
Hockham said that the company spent $1.8 million to build the truck, which will soon begin a 50 stop tour across the country beginning on the West Coast.
