PORTLAND, Ore., Oct. 12, 2009 -- Eid Passport has acquired C&H Patriot Security, a consultancy firm specializing in maritime and transportation security. As part of the acquisition, C&H will be renamed as C&H Global Security and will be operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of Eid Passport.
According to Eid Passport founder/CEO Steve Larson, C&H has "a proven reputation for bridging the gap between government policy and commercial technology. Their unparalleled experience will be a benefit to Eid Passport and will further enhance our ability to bring customers solutions that will meet policy requirements while increasing security and efficiency."
Eid Passport's primary business has been the RapidGate solution, an identification and access control solution used by the government and U.S. military organizations. The program is designed to support access control and identity for civilian workers and vendors of these government offices and facilities by combining ID badges, biometrics, access control stations and more.
As part of the acquisition, former C&H Patriot Security managing director William Holt will stay aboard to serve as the president of C&H Global Security.
