CCTV solutions manufacturer Mirasys announced last week that it has entered into a partnership with networking solutions provider D-Link.
As part of the agreement, the companies will collaborate to provide an integrated IP surveillance solution and management platform for current CCTV users running analog systems. According to a statement, the companies said that they will initially focus on the UK and wider European region then expand to other regions.
In addition, the partnership between the firms ensures systems compatibility.
"We’re pleased to be working with Mirasys to bring their proven surveillance software to our network cameras. This cooperation strengthens D-Link’s initiative to provide higher value IP surveillance products and solutions to meet today customers’ business need. Moreover, Mirasys’s wide base of users will facilitate D-Link’s growth in the IP surveillance technology space," said Antony Lai, vice president of D-Link's Business Solution Unit.
