ISC West sees 10 percent growth in attendance

Show also saw an increase in end user participation

ISC West saw a 10 percent increase in overall attendance at this year’s show, according to statement issued by the tradeshow this week.

The show, which draws representatives from across the industry including manufacturers, dealers and integrators, also saw a seven percent increase in end-user attendance this year.

"This year's event turned a fresh page on the future of security," said Ed Several, senior vice president of ISC Events. "With robust and enthusiastic participation from the industry at ISC West, along with the largest U.S. security show floor to explore new products and technologies and a comprehensive educational program, ISC West continues as a barometer of good things to come for the remainder of 2011 and beyond. We are grateful that the industry chooses to gather with us and our partner, SIA."

The ISC West 2011 show floor was 15,000-square-feet larger than it was last year and featured more than 10,000 products from over 900 exhibiting companies.

In addition, ISC West 2011 also featured a large contingent of international security professionals, who made up over 10 percent of the show’s attendance figures. Canada represented the largest amount of international participation, followed by Mexico, Brazil, Korea and Australia.
